Here's Nvidia's page on Turbocache, which is for notebooks AND desktops: One more strike and maybe you get banned for spreading false information? Since Johan has emphatically proven you wrong as far as video memory goes, (he said he runs on it a 256 MB for great performance), that gives you two strikes. I would recommend something better than an 8600 though, but still, my point is EUIII, and in turn HoI III SINCE IT USES THE SAME GRAPHICS ENGINE, doesn't require a crazy card to run well, just something decent. My video card is a 512 MB 8600 GT, it is very similar to this card on Newegg, at only $60 cost.
I run EU III with a slower processor than you have (Pentium Dual Core 1.8) and I have almost no lag, even when I have multiple programs running in the background. You should really purchase a different card, you will see vast improvements in performance. Not only is the card itself very slow, but it takes RAM from your system, simply making the matter worse. They are the cheapest cards you can buy and in many ways are the worst performance you can get.
Any video card that steals from your RAM (hyper memory for ATI, turbocache for Nvidia) isn't meant for ANY (even semi) serious gaming. Forget the memory on the card, you simply have a piece of sh*t video card, to be blunt.
